Firt of all, my tights are not that 'little'. And secondly my accent is not 'phony' -many of my customers have asked what part of Britain I hail from. There are ways to ensure being sat in a specific section. You just have to know someone. ;)

I like Chris' description... his job involves wearing tights and talking in a phony english accent...

Man, if I was sure, I could get seated in your section I'd be there every week... what a hoot.

I'm still here. Just a tad busy, lately.

I joined ONE year ago but you are correct, I have not attended much (it's only $10 a month and the idea is to try and get back in February, if I can still fit in the door). One reason is that I had to take a part time job, in the course of which during a two hour shift I travel over two miles while intermittenly carrying anywhere from 20-40 pounds. (If the little girls can do it, well so can I.) So it's like getting paid to work out. Do-rags and grunting are not for me. I prefer tights and Cockney.

I am beginning to see a disturbing side to you, Tam, with your interest in closets and private grunting. I hope this isn't related to your recent rant about the lack of plumbing facilities in your home?

HAHA! The grunters are disgruntled! That's funny! I thought it was a joke at first. So if Chris hasn't been there yet then maybe he's a closet grunter....

That's a reference to the gym he joined, Planet Fitness. I gave him a hard time because they operate a "No Judgment Zone" policy where "Lunkheads" who grunt and wear bandannas are not welcome. Which means I would not be welcome...

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQ6OrO1f610" target=blank rel="nofollow">see here</a>

He joined a couple of years ago but I don't think he's been yet... Maybe he should do like Tam and make a resolution NOT to go this year...

BTW: maybe I should call him... he seems to have disappeared.

Yeah, too big a goal doesn't allow the 'flex room' that is often necessary in real life.

The gym is a good place, just not in January. Chris gets scared of all the doo-rags and grunting though...

I like the reverse psychology... let us know how that works for you.

I was telling a friend that, to me, resolutions go against "do not worry about tomorrow"...unless of course I'm resolving not to worry or be anxious which then will leave me to worry about failing on that resolution. It's a lose/lose :D

Oh, and this is why I stay away from them gym. Nah...I just hate exercise...I'm terrible, but I really should make a New Years resolution to NOT go to the gym. That way, maybe I actually will! Hmmm....

Happy New Year!

Who came up with the concept of New Years Resolutions? Aren't they, by their very nature, meant to be broken? It does bug me to see the gym so crowded in Januray and then back to the norm by the end of February. I also think that short term goals make more sense. I think that we overwhelm ourselves with these grandiose resolutions. We set ourselves up to fail. Thus, the cycle begins...
